Who is behind this?

IOT Angels was started in Summer 2014 in London and focuses on small intense classes for investors interested in learning about the internet of things and investment opportunities.

Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino (Director of designswarm) Alexandra is an internationally renowned designer, speaker & entrepreneur around the internet of things. She was named 2nd in Top 100 Internet of Things Thought Leaders (Onalytica, 2014) and is in the 2014 Top 100 Influential Tech Women on Twitter (Business Insider).  Through running her consultancy and trying to find investment for her startup  she found that angel funding in the UK was very focused on web & app development and not on hybrid hardware products. She set up IOTAngels to help build a community of investors interested in these topics and who could help startups in this area. She also organises the London Internet of Things meetup. She can be reached at @iotwatch on Twitter.

Lawrence Archard (develangel) is a co-founder and consultant working in electronics engineering & angel investment in hardware startups for over 10 years. He recently supported the development of the BBC Micro:bit. He is usually at @develangels on Twitter.

Raph Crouan is Managing Director of Startupbootcamp IOT London. Raphael is a strategic & analytical international digital professional who turned the page on 14 years at Apple to come back to his love of entrepreneurship & innovation-driven companies. His latest role was focusing on driving the Strategy & Business Development for the iPhone & iPad in Europe (SMB Market). He can be reached at @raphtwit on Twitter.
